Darren’s professional journey spans 20 years as a chef, including leadership roles managing teams of up to 35 people. From the head chef’s station, he learned the value of communication, consistency, and staying calm under pressure—skills he now brings to every job he takes on.
But long before he was mastering menus, Darren was mowing lawns.
With over 10 years’ experience in his family’s landscaping and lawn care business, Darren knows what quality looks like in the garden. He’s worked on everything from day-to-day maintenance to large-scale garden makeovers, and understands the effort it takes to build a business around trust, results, and long-term customer relationships.
He’s also continuing a family legacy—his father previously owned a James Home Services Lawn & Garden Care business in Hervey Bay, making Darren’s decision to join the brand feel like coming home.
